ABOUT
MIND
MIND is an acronym for "My Intellectual, Newfound Determination." We aim to raise awareness for mental health, specifically the mental health of students. We aim to tackle issues like depression, stress, anxiety, and physical health through a creative and social outlet.
As a study blog, we provide resources for students to achieve their personal best, including free printables and study tips.

MEET THE CREATOR
I never know how to start these.
Was that a good start?
Hi! I'm Laurine J. I am currently a high school junior working towards an Associates in Arts degree. Weird, right? I know.
I am not very athletic, but I love sports. I manage basketball and football teams, so I guess I know what I'm doing most of the time. I mean, working with the guys on the football team has definitely taught me to be VERY patient.
I pride myself on being organized, creative, and hard-working. I may not be the best student, but as long as I am doing my best, I've already won; this was a quote that had stuck with me from the movie Flicka 3: Country Pride.
I started this blog to share my creativity with others after I realized how big of a difference a few supporting words and guiding hands had made during a difficult time in my life. Before I turned to others for support, I had turned to journaling and creative study sessions as an escape. This changed me as an individual; it made me more positive and encouraged me to be a lot more active in my school community.
By sharing my own creations and journals, I hope to inspire others and to offer my support to those struggling with their mental health. It is a lot more common than you think it is, but it's a lot easier to fight and grow from difficult times when you have the right people, right resources, and right places to turn to. Of course, these resources and tips will be based on my own experience, so it might not work for you, but it may be a good first step towards a brighter future.
MIND is the sparkle to my glitter and I hope that glitter helps you shine.
xxx
L J
